The Cattle Creep is a bridge allowing farm animals to pass safely underneath the Skarloey Railway.
History
An early script outline for Duncan Gets Spooked explains how a cattle creep was deemed necessary along a stretch of line that was regularly being covered by mud due to forestry tractors and sheep crossing it. Once its construction got commissioned by Sir Topham Hatt, Peter Sam and Rusty helped build it in the autumn.[1]
Elizabeth once helped to remove a fallen branch from the creep.[2]

Trivia
- The prop used for the bridge was later also reused for the bridges at Strawberry Grove and the Whispering Waterfall.
- In the My Thomas Story Library adaptation of Rusty Saves the Day, the bridge is replaced by a crossing over the tracks.
- Despite this location not being a creek, a section of the Hawin Dooiey is mislabeled as "Cattle Creek" on the 2014 map by former Railway Consultant Sam Wilkinson.
