Cub Camp is a read and colour magazine story.

Plot

One day, Thomas is tasked with collecting a cub scout troop from the harbour who have come to the island for a camping trip. Thomas thinks the cubs look very smart in their uniforms. At a country station, the cubs and their leaders set up camp in the nearby fields and Thomas departs.

Later in the week, Thomas sees smoke coming from behind some hedges. It turns out to be a smoke signal from the cubs, who have gotten lost while doing a paper trail exercise. The cubs follow Thomas back to the campsite and, to return the favour, give him a washdown.
