Engine Adventures is a 2016-2018 book series. Some of the stories are altered versions of the My Thomas Story Library books while others have completely new stories. The books have re-illustrated pictures in the style of the CGI television series while some titles have all new illustrations.

Trivia
- Some illustrations were re-used in a special railway safety book called Stay Safe with Thomas, which can be viewed online or downloaded. A paperback version of the book was available in 2019.[1]
- Several characters appeared despite not receiving their own personalised books. These include Edward, Duck, Donald, Douglas, Connor, 'Arry, Bert, Class 40, Annie, Clarabel, Henrietta, Isabel, Dulcie, Rocky, Toad, Terence, Butch, Tiger Moth, Captain and Sir Topham Hatt.
