Fancy That! is a magazine story.

Plot

The vicar had arranged a new year's eve party and all the children, especially Bridget and Stephen Hatt were excited. In the afternoon, snow falls and Thomas with Annie and Clarabel came to pick up all the children at every station. The guard put all costumes in a big, round bag in his van. As Thomas puffed around, the guard's door swung open because the guard did not shut the door properly. He arrived at the station near the church hall and Stephen and Bridget Hatt overexcitedly forgot their bag. Afterwards, Thomas stopped near a huge snowball and at the next station there was a message saying that Stephen and Bridget have forgot their costumes in the guard's van. Thomas had an idea. The guard quickly went back to look at the giant snowball which turned out to be Stephen and Bridget's bag. Soon, after that, Thomas race dback to the church hall just in time for the party. Stephen and BRidget Hatt were thrilled.
