Paul 'Spike' Knight was a model maker on Thomas the Tank Engine & Friends. He started during the second series. With the help of Jeremy King, he constructed the original Gauge 1 model of Harold. Additionally, he created a mock-up of the diorama plans for the Clearwater Features signage at Shepperton Studios during the production of Series 2.
Knight also worked on Thomas' sister series, TUGS, as a model maker and prop designer. He constructed the models for numerous characters, including Hercules, Zug, and Grampus.
