Pez is a candy and candy dispenser manufacturer. The dispensers come in many varieties, some based on popular brands, including Thomas and Friends. Pez initially released the first six engines in 2004 and later rereleased all but Edward between 2009 and 2010 with the addition of Toby. In 2020 Thomas was re-released as part of the Pez Nick Jr. Lineup.

Trivia
- Toby was the only engine to have a CGI face, whilst Thomas, Edward, Henry, Gordon, James and Percy retained their model series faces.
- Edward was only released as a Japanese dispenser in 2004 as a surprise egg.
