Plot
Thomas is making his way down the main line with some light goods. He is very happy to be doing this job, especially when every signal he comes to is green. Unfortunately, Thomas finally comes across a red signal. He waits for a few minutes but the signal never changes.
Later, Percy comes up from behind with a local train and not long after that comes James, then Gordon and finally Toby. The engines begin speculating about what is causing the traffic jam.
It turns out Toby has the correct answer; the signal is broken and he was instructed to bring workmen to fix it. The other engines sigh at such a minor inconvenience and are soon sent on their way again when the signalman says the line is clear.
