HMS Belfast is a World War II light cruiser moored by the Tower Bridge in London.

Technical Details

Basis

HMS Belfast is based on the real light cruiser of the same name, a Town-class light cruiser that was built for the Royal Navy. She is now permanently moored as a museum ship on the River Thames in London and is operated by the Imperial War Museum.

Livery

HMS Belfast is painted in the Royal Navy's Admiralty Pattern disruptive camouflage.

A sailing frigate is a full-rigged warship that was used in the 17th–19th centuries.

According to Salty, the Navy used their frigate in an attempt to capture Captain Calles and his pirate ship after he had stolen treasure from several merchants. The Navy were unsuccessful, as Captain Calles hid his ship in a cavern between Arlesburgh and Harwick.

The frigates were based on the real warships of the same name. The name frigate in the 17th to early 18th centuries was given to any full-rigged ship built for speed and maneuverability, intended to be used in scouting, escort and patrol roles.

A Viking longship was a long, narrow, open-hulled ship used by the Vikings for trade, exploration, warfare, and commerce.

Once, Marion thought she found a Viking longship while repairing an embankment on the Main Line. However, this was revealed to actually be a leaky water pipe.
